The Pinnacle Process
The pool construction process can be overwhelming, Pinnacle Outdoor Design and Build is here to work with you every step of the way. We want to give you peace of mind by being transparent and informative throughout the entire process. Starting from the site evaluation to determine what and where you can build your custom pool or custom spa, to ensuring the final product is exactly what your expected. Site Evaluation
The first step in the process is the site evaluation where our team will come and evaluate the area you expect your custom pool to be built. During this stage, we will not only review your land, but we will also review HOA restrictions, county guidelines, and any other potential factors that could affect the design and build of your outdoor living space.

3D Design
After we evaluate your outdoor living area, we will start designing your swimming pool, spa, and outdoor living space. Our team uses 3D design technology to give you a realistic vision of what your custom pool will look like. During this stage we will focus on the details including your pool shape, size, lighting, water features, and overall design of your outdoor living space.

Excavation & Framing
Once we have finalized your 3D design we will break ground and start building your dream swimming pool. First, we will excavate where your pool will be located. Then, we will frame the pool, using rebar to establish the framework of your custom pool. Lastly, to prepare your custom swimming pool for gunite, we will install all plumbing in and around the pool.

Install
Now that your pool is formed, the gunite process begins. This is when our team uses a hose to shoot concrete into the framework of your pool and shape it to your pool specifications. The concrete will endure a 28-day curing period, during this time we will install the coping, waterline tile, and veneer. Also, during this time, we will run all the plumbing to the pad, set up the pool equipment, and install the gas line.
Once your mechanical inspections have passed, we will prepare and pour the concrete for the decking around your pool. 30-45 days post gunite shoot, your swimming pool will be ready for plaster where we finish and seal the concrete. At this stage, your custom pool is about 95% complete, and we can move on to the finishing touches.

Finishing Touches
Your custom outdoor living space is almost ready for you and your family. Our team will put the finishing touches on your space including clean up, ensuring all your equipment is running properly, and your water chemistry is at adequate levels. Additionally, our team of experts will walk you through “pool school” where we teach you how to use your equipment, maintain water chemistry, and pool maintenance. Plus, we will help you set up and teach you how to use any other smart technology installed in your outdoor living space.
